Cambodia is a dynamically changing country. Sweeping improvements in infrastructure, education, commerce and in the medical sectors are rapidly occurring. Construction cranes dot the skyline of Phnom Penh, as builders create more space for the mass flow to the capital city. Our growing Cambodian field is also in transition. From doing pioneer evangelism among the majority Khmer people in the early 2000s, World Team is shifting to more supportive and facilitative roles as the Khmer believers effectively share the gospel among their countrymen. Pioneer opportunities still exist among the minority Vietnamese and Muslim communities. Teams are gearing up in their language and cultural capacity to meet this challenge.
