France is one of the most secular countries in Europe. A tradition of Christianity in the form of Catholicism has been reduced to mostly that, a tradition. But this tide of turning away from the faith has had one counter current, the Evangelical church that has been growing against all odds at a rate of 2.4% per year. Though a miniscule percentage of the population, this dynamic movement has set the ambitious goal of having one evangelical church for every 10 000 inhabitants as opposed to one for every 30 000 seen today. World Team France has been a part of this movement since the 70s. Our teams work in partnership with French church planting efforts as well as engaging largely untouched parts of the population.
