Central Asia is predominantly Muslim, with many unreached people groups represented in the population. Our team is working with a minority people, with hopes of growth and expansion into many other peoples of the region. The region is mountainous and beautiful. The local people are friendly, warm and welcoming, but in desperate need for real hope. The interrelatedness of the Turkic languages of the region makes for a great opportunity to use language learning as a means to interact with multiple people groups. Russian can also be a great option as most of the region was formerly a part of the Soviet Union and remnants of that time are evident all around.
