Tom and his wife, Kristin, joined the Philippines field in 2002. They have four young adult daughters. In 2004, after completing their study of Tagalog, the primary language of the Philippines, Tom and Kristin moved to Catanduanes Island in the Bicol Region. They lived there for 14 years and contributed to a church plant in the northern part of the island and another in the southern part.
In 2018, they moved to Manila, where Tom became the Field Director for World Team Philippines. In October 2025, he became World Team’s Asia Area Director. Tom has a deep passion to see the many unreached people groups across Asia engaged with the gospel. He is also committed to encouraging, mentoring, and investing in others.
